| There are four braces run each day; two in the morning and two in the afternoon. Each brace is ninety minutes long. This schedule is adhered to, as much as possible, in order to allow handlers and owners to be better informed as to when their dog will run. | |||||||
| All participants must have hunting license from their native state. The shotgun requirement will be waived for the 2008 Championship. Dogs may be ordered up when considered justified by all three judges. No bitches in season will be carried on the dog wagon. The bye dog will be given 24 hours notice before being asked to run, unless handler elects otherwise. | |||||||
| A panel of three judges name a champion. No runner-up is named. | |||||||
